FullSet Nail Site

This project explores the intersection of beauty, branding, and e-commerce through FullSet, a fully responsive press-on nail website designed and developed from the ground up. The site was created to provide a visually engaging and functional shopping experience, allowing users to explore a curated collection of press-on nail designs while easily navigating and filtering products based on their preferences.

Process

For this project, I contributed across the entire process, independently developing the branding, UI/UX, visual design, and front-end implementation. I focused on creating a cohesive experience where aesthetics and functionality worked together, while keeping the user journey and overall purpose of the site in mind throughout development. One of the project’s defining features was the creation of a custom mock API for the nail product selection system, allowing users to dynamically filter the full product collection by nail shape, such as almond, square, coffin, and stiletto. This required me to think beyond the visual design of the site and consider how data, functionality, and user interaction could work together to create a more efficient experience. The project also incorporated jQuery, which streamlined development and allowed interactive features to be implemented more efficiently than in my previous projects. Throughout the process, I prioritized responsiveness, functionality, and usability while ensuring the final experience remained consistent with the FullSet brand.
